We live in an evolving world where change is the only thing constant and business challenges are on the rise. For those of us in business leadership, this moment isn’t just about adapting—it's about rethinking our strategies from the ground up.

One significant shift we're navigating is the decline of third-party cookies as a useful targeting. Even though Google has again extended their life, the world is moving on and their usefulness is in terminal decline as people make their own decisions to opt out. In truth third-party cookies were never great, they were just better than nothing and they were easy and accessible to use.   Only first-party data helps you understand and engage with our customers in a genuine and authentic way. It's like moving from a Tinder profile (third-party cookies) to a first date (first-party data) where real interaction happens. We need to go beyond the surface and design experiences that matter. I explore this analogy and its impact on your data strategy in my latest thought piece, "Tinder, First Dates, and Your Data Strategy."
